A 12-Free label signifies that our product is free from the 12 most toxic substances often present in conventional gel and nail polishes.
Ambedo Solid Gel Polish Excludes:
Formaldehyde – Typically used to harden polish, formaldehyde is a recognised carcinogen. Prolonged exposure may trigger skin irritation, allergies, and has connections to cancers of the respiratory system.
Toluene – Responsible for the strong, chemical aroma in some polishes, toluene ensures even dispersion of colour pigments for a smooth finish. However, inhalation or contact may harm the nervous system, causing headaches, dizziness, or nausea, and is suspected to heighten risks of developmental issues during pregnancy.
Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) – Acting as a plasticiser and solvent, DBP enhances polish flexibility to resist chipping. Yet, skin absorption is linked to reproductive harm, fertility challenges, and congenital abnormalities.
Camphor – Artificial camphor lends a high-shine effect but may induce nausea, migraines, or lightheadedness with prolonged use.
Formaldehyde Resin – Though it strengthens nails, this derivative can irritate skin and compromise immune function.
Xylene – Used to maintain a smooth consistency, xylene’s harsh vapours (common in industrial products like adhesives) may damage vital organs, including the liver and kidneys, upon overexposure.
Parabens – These preservatives, prevalent in cosmetics, mimic oestrogen and are tied to hormonal disruptions.
Fragrances – Synthetic scents often contain undisclosed chemical blends that may provoke rashes, itching, or worsen skin conditions like eczema.
Phthalates – Added to increase product malleability, these chemicals are associated with heightened cancer risks.
Ethyl Tosylamide – This plasticiser and film-forming agent improves polish durability but raises concerns due to limited safety data.
Triphenyl Phthalate (TPHP) – A dual-purpose plasticiser and flame retardant, TPHP’s potential endocrine-disrupting effects remain under scrutiny.
HEMA – known for its adhesive properties, uncured HEMA can cause severe skin allergies and sensitivities.

I’m so impressed with Ambedo. The solid gel colours were the easiest and least messy gels I have ever used and I’ve also had the neatest application ever! The colour was easy to build up to the depth I wanted and the brush cleaned easily after application.
My only quibble would be the Uv light not having an automatic timer that switches it off after the 60 second cure, but really in the scheme of things it’s no biggie.

I had been wanting to try this kit for so long, but after buying the last online craze of nail powder kits (which would crack after a couple of days, and my nails would look worse than when I get acrylics professionally done) I decided to wait a while. Huge mistake, this has been the easiest nail kit I have ever purchased. I paired it with the coffin tip nails and the result was amazing, they’ve stuck on for over a week now (and continuing) and the colour is vibrant and still almost perfect. I love that it has a shade range of a selected colour (I love red and burgundy). Overall, really easy to use, amazing result, lasts longer than any powder dip nail kit that I have ever used. Highly recommend, I doubt I’ll use anything else in the future!

I happened to come across this product on TikTok and after a few weeks of deciding whether to purchase, I took the plunge and decided to give it a shot😊 I’m so glad I did! I got my first set a few days ago and am finding it super easy to use the gel. I love the rechargeable LED lamp, thats a total game changer!! Having a lamp that can be used without a power cable has redefined where I can do my nails and this is a major benefit for me along with the ease of applying the gel colours.

I have tried and tested a number of home nail systems over the last 12 months, and am so glad I finally took the plunge with Ambedo. My first set (Barely There) took less than half an hour (with 90 seconds under the UV each time). They look amazing and I have already put in another order because I know this is the system that will work for me.
Received today and attempted the acrylic gel tips.. unfortunately they didn't stay but that's more due to a learning curve.
Gave up on the acrylics but used the other products and love how easy it is.. well we easier on non dominant hand versus dominant hand but I'll get there
Easier to apply than a powder polish I've tried plus another gel one. Love the paint brush style to apply the colours. The remover foils are a game changer for me and I've just received my 2nd colour pallet.

This was my first time trying this product. It was easy to apply, though my first try was not very neat.
Loved the end result and even my partner commented that there was no nasty smell. The peel off base made it easy to remove the polish. Only issue is the led lamp was not automatically set to a 60 second timer.
Definitely looking forward to using this product more.
Having never really bothered with my nails as I’m hopeless at applying polish I decided to give Ambedo a go. I am blown out of the water at how easy it is to apply. I love that each coat dries in 60 - 90 seconds. I adore the smooth finish that I have craved. I have tried another system but found it chipped and flaked after a day or two (I am rough on my hands). Not Ambedo, a week in and it looks like I just applied it. I’m not excited to get my second order which is coming today. I also love that this is based in Australia. Thank you Ambedo, for making my fingers pretty.
Before giving birth I had my nails done regularly at the nail shop. Now the cost of a baby and the limited time means I had to give up getting my nails done something I really didn't want to do.
I purchased the starter kit and absolutely love it. So simple and easy to apply and my nail are feeling like they used to and I didn't even need to leave the house for it.

I really liked the product it was my first time using gel polish at home and it was very user friendly and the finish product was great. Only thing is I would not use all the colours in my pan, personally not all of them are my taste. I would love to be able to make my own colour combinations as there are several colours from others that I would use but also don’t want to spend so much when I will likely only use one colour. Great product though!
