What Happens at a Nail Paint & Sip

Arrive and settle in. Drinks and nibbles are waiting, so it never feels rushed.

Learn the basics. We walk you through gel manicure 101: prep, thin layers and curing, the same steps you can repeat at home.

Paint your own nails. Using Ambedo's gel systems, you work through a full manicure with help on hand whenever you need it.

Go home with more than nails. Guests leave with a finished mani and new skills. Many leave with new friends too.

Where It Started

Our First Paint & Sip in Hamilton

Our first Nail Paint & Sip was held in Hamilton, Brisbane in May 2026. A room full of women who mostly did not know each other painted their own gel nails for the first time, swapped colour ideas and, by the end of the night, were swapping socials and asking when the next one was.

Since then, the Nail Social Club has grown into a series of classes. That first night proved our favourite idea: when it comes to gel nails, yes, you can do it too.

Keep Going at Home

Most guests want to keep practising after the night. These three systems are the ones we teach:

Solid gel. Beginner-friendly and mess-free. It stays where you put it.

Builder gel. For strength and growth on weak or breaking nails.

Speedi Mani. A quick gel manicure for busy weeks.

All come in starter kits with an LED lamp, and our step-by-step gel tutorial picks up where the class leaves off.
